The vison of Milbournie for our kids and student ministries is to come along side families as they help their kids and students grow in Christ. This will be done in several ways through worship, teaching, fun activities, vacation bible school, and individual ministries. The goal of Milbournie kids and students ministries can be located in Matthew 5:14-16, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bow. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let you light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Website: www.milbournieupward.com Upward Sports is a youth-oriented outreach ministry that is offered by Milbournie FWB Church. There are thousands of churches all over the United States that participate in this awesome program. Through the appeal of basketball and cheerleading, the Upward experience provides an opportunity to build a relationship with God. This program helps children discover that God has lessons for us to learn in all aspects of life. Our program is beginning its ninth year and has allowed us to touch the hearts of hundreds of children and their families. We invite you to become part of the ministry that is sweeping the nation! Registration begins in December and games run from January through the first of March.

 

Consists of students ages 4-5th grade. His KIDZ is a time of high energy worship and learning about our Christ. Kids will sing and be taught each week about scripture and how scripture applies to our lives. The mission of His KIDZ is to assist families in helping their kids grow in Christ, while at the same time helping kids learn ways to spread the gospel in their own way.

 

 

Consists of kids from ages 4-7 years of age. The vision for Milbournie Church is to see these kids understand some of the basic concepts that are needed to help them grow spiritually. Though these kids are young, Jesus made it very clear that they are a very important part of His Kingdom. Milbournie strives to provide a nurturing environment so these young kids can understand how important they are to God. Kids will have a great time, while at the same time singing worship songs, and learning about God in an interactive way.

 

Consist of kids from ages 8-finished 5th grade. The vision for Milbournie Church is to see these kids continue to grow in their faith, so that they can become more effective in understanding how to not only live a life for Christ, but how to spread the Gospel in an effective way. Milbournie also strives to help these kids understand the love of God and that they are all unique themselves because they are a creation of God. Kids will have a great time, while at the same time singing worship songs, and learning about God in an interactive way. 

 

The mission of Milbournie Church is to help these students continue to continue to grow in their relationship with Christ, while at the same time help them to understand they are in invaluable part of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Students will be taught that spreading the Gospel can be as simple at telling "their story" of how Jesus changed their life, while at the same time becoming more spiritually mature in scripture. Students will have a time to just hang out, play games, but will also be engaged in worship.
